2. Can be used as dye agent and color-fixing agent. Dicyandiamide epoxy resin produced by dicyandiamide and indoor formaldehyde can be used as dye color fixing agent.
3. Can be used as dicyandiamide fertilizer. Dicyandiamide compound fertilizer can adjust the conversion efficiency of base fertilizer in the soil environment that are reducing the damage of nitrogen and improving the application efficiency of organic fertilizer.
4. As a biochemical intermediate. Used in the pharmaceutical industry to produce nitrate guanidine, sulfonamide, etc. It is also used to produce thiourea, cellulose nitrate thickener, plastic vulcanization accelerator, steel surface sealing curing agent, artificial leather filler, adhesive, etc. The pharmaceutical intermediate 5-azocytosine can be obtained by reaction of dicyandiamide with benzoic acid.
