 On October 18, 2022, Liu Kewei, Vice President of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, visited Beilite Chemical Co., Ltd. to investigate production safety and the COVID-19 prevention and control. The leaders accompanying the investigation are: Wan Donggang, Deputy Secretary of CPC and head of the Emergency Management Department of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Wang Wei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Organization of the government and Mayor of Shizuishan City. Song Shiwen, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Shizuishan and Secretary of Party Committee of Pingluo County. Guo Yaofeng, County magistrate of Pingluo County. The leaders of Beilite receiving investigation are: Li Yuzhong, Chairman of the Federation of Industry and Commerce of Ningxia and Chairman of Beilite company. Wang Xinli, Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Chairman of Beilite Company. Gu Zian, Vice Chairman of Beilite company and other relevant staff. 

In the Intelligent Command Center, Vice Chairman Gu Zian introduced the basic information of the company, work safety, the details of COVID-19 prevention and control and so on. The company’s intelligent video surveillance system, major hazard source warning analysis platform and energy control platform, the equipment management and HSE management system platform and the whole process automation control system were demonstrated. What’s more, the digital application scenarios and transformation results of the company’s production safety were introduced to leaders. Afterwards, Liu Kewei and other leaders went to the hazardous waste warehouse of Ningxia Beilite Biotechnology Co., Ltd. for field investigation and were briefed by the responsible person on the disposal of hazardous waste and the safe production of hazardous chemicals. 

 Vice president Liu praised and recognized Beilite’s management of hazardous waste warehouse, safe production and the COVID-19 prevention and control. He said: Beilite has played a benchmarking role in the work of production safety. We hope that Beilite will continue to take digitization and intellectualization as the starting point, and do a good job in the work of production safety in a tight, strict, intensive and surefooted manner. We should never take it lightly and always tighten the string of production safety and effectively guard the bottom line of safety. He stressed that as the COVID-19 is still spreading at a high frequency, so all prevention and control measures should be well implemented. People, objects and the environment should be checked equally, and all COVID-19 prevention and control should be covered to build a strong defense line for COVID-19 prevention and control.
